Tomato Tarts & Pizzas Recipe ~
Ingredients:
Tomatoes ~ I used organic ones
Butter puff pastry
Gruyere or mozzarella cheese
Prosciutto or salami or chicken
fresh thyme
Mushrooms (optional)
Green pepper (optional)
1. Roast tomatoes mixed well in olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper, 400 F in the oven for about 30 minutes. Let cool.
2. Thaw the butter puff pastry according to instructions on the box. While leaving the unused ones in the fridge, slightly roll out one sheet of pastry and prick at 1-inch intervals all over with a folk.
3. Bake pastry at 400F in the oven until light golden and puffed, 12-15 minutes. Let cool.
4. Lightly brush pastry with egg.

5. Sprinkle grated gruyere or mozzarella cheese, leaving 1-inch border.

6. Arrange tomatoes and prosciutto or salami or chicken, feel free to be creative and add mushrooms, green pepper, ingredients that you think match with the rest.

7. Put another layer of cheese and finally sprinkled with thyme.
8. Bake at 400F in the oven until golden for 12-15 minutes.
