priss | April 5, 2010Friends! I’ve been blessed with awesome friends around me since I was 2! HAHA~ They are all over the world: mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Paris, and the States… I don’t think I’ve missed anyone? =p Watched an inspiring movie last night — Up in the Air and absolutely adore it! Other than the fact that George Clooney being as handsome as he is, the movie brings up a crucial point: To be happy in life, “everyone needs a co-pilot”. Life is better with company. So true..
I believe that everyone has at least one co-pilot, be it family members, friends, husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend… we all have one.

& we had a fun lunch @ Kingyo with my dear friends Dom & Cat. What a great time! Kingyo started doing lunch recently and we’ve always meant to go. I love LOVE Kingyo and we basically followed Minoru san from Guu Garlic and have been Kingyo’s loyal customers ever since! I love their passions and dedication towards food…

The rest of us ordered the King Lunch (a pretty classic and traditional way of serving lunch – a set of mini dishes) ~ yes, this is the one-person portion and they only make 10 sets of these every day. Tamago, beef tataki, marinated duck, meatball, salmon, chicken karaage, beef stew, tuna tataki, Japanese pickle, chives, and finally rice and miso soup composing of 3 different kinds of miso. Ahhhh I was SO HAPPY!
